Helen Flitton

Helen has almost 16 years post qualification experience in the UK construction industry.  She has been an associate architect at an award winning Buckinghamshire practice, spent time running her own micro practice and has worked at various architectural practices throughout Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. Helen’s experience covers a variety of sectors including schools, hotels and community buildings, but she has developed a focus on residential properties including renovation/ alteration and new-builds. 

Specialisms

As well as being a member of RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects), Helen is also a member of AECB (Association for Environment Conscious Building). She has recently completed a Passivhaus Bitesize training course and will shortly begin the AECB Carbonlite Retrofit Course.  She loves to expand her knowledge base and keep up to date with the latest innovations. In her spare time Helen is an active board member of Thame Community Land Trust and is currently working on a project to deliver 31 genuinely affordable homes for the Thame community, as well as additional green open spaces for all to enjoy.  The proposals aim to achieve Passivhaus standards.
